Level 1
This is a physical inspection of your unit and/or chimney from what can be seen by the technician. (Also includes gathering all information and measurements of existing for possible changes in the future such as wood burning inserts, chase covers, raised chimney caps…)
Level 2
This includes a full level 1 inspection with the added benefit of running a camera down the chimney to check all areas that may be hard or impossible to see otherwise. (Not required on all inspections)
Level 3
Includes Level 1 & 2 inspection plus a full invasive inspection where we have to remove all materials from covering any and all parts of the chimney to thoroughly inspect it. (Only required by NFPA211 fire code when a hazardous event has occurred such as a chimney fire, lightning strike, or earthquake…)
Reports
At the end of the inspection you will receive a report similar to this one via email. The report includes pictures and documentation of the inspection.
